We know that we should have physical examination annually. Because our pets age more rapidly than we humans (see the chart on the Geriatrics page)major health issues can arise in a short period of time. An annual examination for your pet equates to your having a physical check up only once every seven years. The risk of diseases and conditions like diabetes, obesity, arthritis heart disease and other potentially serious conditions rises as your pet ages. Also, because today's pets are living longer they are subject to experiencing more potentially serious illnesses than ever before. Early detection and treatment of illness and health changes is key to successful treatment. Therefore, we recommend you bring your pets in for a complete physical examination, including screenings, twice a year. A wellness exam may include: |

ADULT DOGS (1-6 years)
